The centrifuge

The centrifuge separates the water from the solid biological substances.
The solid biological substances go to the bioreactor.
The dirty water goes to the dirty water storage.

In dirty water, anything can floating around or sink. Material with a greater specific weight when water sinks, due to gravity, to the bottom. Lighter parts will float on the surface. Unfortunately, substances that have exactly the same specific gravity as water cannot be separated in this way. Fortunately there are not many of them. A centrifuge does the same thing as gravity, but with a much greater force, making sinking and floating much faster. The force, called centrifugal force, also does not act downwards but from the center of the direction of rotation. In this way, oil, water and heavier parts can be separated. They all need to be sucked out or scraped in the correct order.
