Biological energy
In this section we will discuss the possibilities to generate biological energy.
We will not investigate all the possibilities. The applications to make a home autarkic are certainly covered. And everything we investigate becomes available under free open source licenses.

The Centrifuge
In water everything can float around. Material with a larger species weight as water sinks, due to gravity, to the bottom. Lighter parts will float on the surface. A centrifuge does the same thing as gravity, but with a much greater force, which makes sinking and floating much faster. The force, called centrifugal force, also does not work downwards but from the middle of the turning direction. In this way oil, water and heavier parts can be separated. They must all be sucked out or scraped in the correct order.

An algae breeding unit / Algae cultivation unit
There are 2 sides on a saddle roof. The roof part that gets the most amount of sunlight is suitable for the solar panels. For this side we refer to as the solar tile. The other part of the sloping roof, where there is almost no sunlight, we can use very well for growing algae.
But why should we be breeding algae?
We do this for two reasons:
- Algae clean water
- Algae are biological and contain a lot of energy that can be released in the bioreactor

The high temperature bioreactor
In a bioreactor, biological remains such as the remains of plants and animals and solid and liquid waste (excretion) are digested such that only manure remains. This digestion is done by bacteria. In this design we do not use a special kind of bacteria, but the bacteria that can survive the best. In this digestion process methane is released, a gas that can be used to generate energy. Because this reactor works above 60°C, the bacteria that are harmful to humans would die. A special control system is installed to check this process. The manure produced is biologically sound.
